Just another great morning for the 49 seniors who turned out for a round of golf. Makes one feel a bit sorry for all those golfers down south who have been swinging in the rain for the past few weeks. Anyway the top foursome with 10 points were Bob Quinn, Ken Allen, Jim Conner and Dick Berthiaume. Second place was a tie between Red Nelson, Jim Russell, Ron Wiebe, Barry Smith and Paul Warga, Harvey Fleming, Bob McKay, Gerry Nomeland. Third with six points Hugh Howat, Dave Negrych, Stan Curtis and Terry Grindle. Fourth with five points Cal Hammond, Ron Watt, Ken McKay and Grant Adams. Fifth with four points Lee Fisher, Bev Baker, Doug Anderson and Cam Wilson. Low gross score was a tie between Ron Wiebe and Lee Fisher with scores of 39. Low Net of net 33 was Red Netson. The longest putt on #8 was Bob McKay with a 14 foot putt and Ron Wiebe took the loonie pot on #6 with a deuce. Next week will be a busy week for our senior golfer with some 24 taking in The Pas Annual Seniors Golf Tournament and six or more going to the MSOS games in Neepawa. Should be a fun time for the travelling seniors and we wish them good luck and good golf. Our next seniors scramble will be on Wednesday June 22. First foursome off the #1 tee no later than 8:00 a.m.
