The golf course is in good shape for this early in the year, but we need some rain and warm sunshine to bring the greens into better shape. However, the 28 seniors enjoyed the day and the golf on Tuesday morning. Performance was a little better this week compared to last week. Top group with five points were Ken Weaver, Jim Russell, Sandy Ernest and Doug Anderson. Second with one earned point were Metro Lekopoy, Bev Baker, Barry Smith and Al Mills. Third with zero points were Alex Lekopoy, Doug Ormiston, Garnet Wheeler and Ken Allen. Fourth with minus two were Terry Lofgren, Bill Eastman, Merle Sproxton, Ron Wiebe and Ron Thorley. Low gross score was 38 by Barry Smith and low net of 31 was by Doug Anderson. Garnet Wheeler won the money pot on #6 and Doug Ormiston had the longest putt on #8. Our next Scramble will be on Wednesday, June 2. First group off the #1 tee at 8 a.m.5/27/2004
