More winners out of the MSOS competitions at Neepawa last week. Jack and Donna Streitle were both winners. Jack won gold in his group and Donna won silver. Both in the 18 hole net competition. Well done. A great turnout of 48 seniors for our Wednesday, July 29 outing. Lots of bugs but hey, the golf was great. Merle Sproxton won the loonie pot on #6 with a deuce. No recorded putts on #8. IÊtake it they were all too short even for honorable mention. We welcomed back Dave Paton who tied with Ron Watt at 38 for the low gross. Low net was won by Brian Row with a net 28. Top foursomeÊwas Ron Watt, Gord Redahl, Bob Quinn and Harold Carr with 11 points. Second with nine points Doug Anderson, Metro Lekopoy, Dave Paton and Bryan Dixon. Two groups tied for third spot with seven points, Garnet Wheeler, Jack Larsson, Don Gummerson, Glen Campbell and ÊGil Labarre, Rick Switzer, Ken Allen, and back for a holiday, Martin Stelnicki. Fourth with six points, Alex Lekopoy, Alex Graham, Jack Streitle, Hugh Howat. Fifth place with five points, Gord Brown, Ron Bailey, Ken McKay and Brian Row. Sixth place was a tie each with four points, Red Nelson, Lorne Butcher, Paul Warga, Bob McKay and Tom Edwards, Bert Graves, Ron Atkinson, Dale Powell.Ê Next week we will post a listing of all seniors who can participate in our Seniors Club Championship. Any seniors who cannot make the dates for play please let us know next Wednesday. If we have missed anybody let us know as well. Our next seniors scramble will be Wednesday July 6th. First foursome off #1 tee no laterÊthan 8 a.m.
