Golfers enjoyed a great morning of Indian Summer weather for their scramble on Wednesday. Thirty-five turned out. Top foursome with ten points, Alec Graham, Jack Larsson, Lorne Butcher and Gil Labarre. Second with four points, Ted Baumgartner, Cam Wilson, Bill Martinot and Merle Sproxton. Third & fourth groups tied with two points, Stan Curtis, Jim Jankovich, Terry Grindle, Al Bhatt and Rick Dansereau, Hugh Howat, Don McElroy, Glen Campbell. Fifth & sixth groups tied with one point, Red Nelson, Waly Ariko, Paul Warga, Dan Hamiton and Grant Adams, Hugh Meikle, Dave Negrych, Bev Baker. Low gross score of 39 for Ron Wiebe and Red Nelson. Best net score for the morning by Alec Graham with a net score of 31. Gil Labarre won the loonie pot on #6 by being closest to the hole with his drive and Paul Warga made the longest putt on #8 at 11 feet. Our next scramble will be Wednesday September 13th.
