A few curlers who have been down the ice a time or two gathered at the Willow Park Curling Club on the weekend of January 24 for the annual Seniors Men's and Women's Bonspiel. With seven events highlighting the weekend, the teams were busy sweeping and throwing their rocks as best they could. The Flin Flon Credit Union event saw Don Holmes' team over-take Don Hume's team for first place in the finals on Sunday. And third for the men's events, John Munson took first place in the Prospector Inn event over Craig Craig's team. For the women, it was Judy Maitland who came in first place with a win over Judy Black in the finals. Keeping in tune with Maitland, JoAnne Palmer continued the success with a first place win over Leona Lundgren for the Curves event. And the Arctic Beverages event saw Sue Chrisp in first place, followed by Diane Burwash, Geri Kostuchuk and Anne Henry.
