The St. Louis Blues chose Jaden Schwartz in the first round, 14th overall, in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Schwartz played as a 16-year-old in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League in 2008-09; racking up 34 goals and 42 assists in 46 games to win the SJHL Rookie Of The Year Award. He also played in the World Junior 'A' Challenge for Canada West as well as the CJHL Top Prospects Game. This past season, Schwartz played in the USHL for the Tri-City Storm and fired 33 goals and 50 assists in 60 games to lead the league in points. The NHL Entry Draft continues on Saturday and Kindersley goalie Josh Thorimbert is, surely, on the radar after winning the SJHL Rookie Of The Year Award this past season and then accepting a scholarship to Colorado College to play with both Jaden and Rylan Schwartz.
