Kelly Carrington Staff Writer Entire team in a tree. A mask made of bologna. Teammate dropping it like it's hot. A smiley face breakfast. Those were just a few of the pictures needed this year in the first-ever Flin Flon Trout Festival Photo Scavenger Hunt. Teams of up to four participants took 10 days to try and snap 275 photos on a list involving the entire team, strangers, friends and random objects. Sisters Got Blisters _ made up of Gloria Brown, Darlene Babcock, Rena Cosgrove and Nikki Gulliford _ picked up first place with 1,130 points. They received $250 from sponsor H&R Block. Da Beaches _ Cindy Anderson, Debbie Willey, Heather Richardson and Carey Ellingson _ came in second with 1,069 points. Third place went to Finders Kreepers _ Stacey Hyndman, Denny Hyndman, Rikki Petersen and Blair Rasmussen _ with 1,015 points. With 275 photos on the list, each one ranged from a single point to 15, including a bonus. In total, 13 teams entered the contest. Teams were asked to take a picture of an entire pizza on a roof. Trout Festival vice-president Hollee Babcock said this was one photo where the creativity came out. 'Some (teams) threw an entire pizza on the ceiling while others took a ceiling tile down and placed a pizza on it,' she said. Creativity was encouraged throughout the challenge and inspired some interesting pictures. Teams found themselves having to stand together in one bathroom stall, stand together in a non-walk-in closet, and even in a shower_ bonus points if the water was running. Laying under the same vehicle helped get teams a few extra points. Babcock says some of her favourite pictures to look over were from teams holding model UN meetings at Chicken Chef as well as teams decked out in full KISS makeup. 'From our end it was really good,' Babcock said. 'It was hilarious looking at some of the pictures.' Babcock was curious to see pictures from the upside down tea party and a teammate behind the wheel of a Jaguar _ both of which had two entries. With 13 teams entering, Babcock was pleased with the turnout and hopes to see a few more next year. Babcock, along with husband and Trout Festival president Tim, spent time researching the perfect requirements for the scavenger hunt. With thousands of ideas, next year's hunt promises to be just as entertaining. Hollee says a few photos weren't snapped by any teams this year and might make an appearance next year. 'But for the most part, we'll use new items,' she said. Having a dance party at a red light, doing the chicken dance at KFC and hosting a mock cookout in the seasonal section of a store made for fun pictures through the scavenger hunt. Other locations were thrown in the mix as well as teams had to dodge a Dodge in the Twin Motors showroom and re-enact the cover of a DVD at Movies N Moore. Teams came up with some interesting names. Among them: Smartinis, Returning Champions, Munchie Monsters, Shake It Like A Polaroid Picture, I 4 Got, Lunch Hoo-ers, Guns and Roses, and The Searchers.
