The Saskatchewan Safety Council Snowmobile Safety Course was held this past weekend at Creighton Community School. The eight-hour course includes both classroom and outdoor driving instruction. Eight men took the course on Saturday, and then on Sunday these newly certified instructors taught the course to 34 youth. All the students passed and it proved to be a great weekend for everyone involved. In town to offer the course was Peter Huebner, Chief Master Instructor and Administrator for the Safety Snowmobile Program, for the Saskatchewan Safety Council. The new certified instructors for our community are: John Trumbley of Creighton School Kevin Weber of Creighton RCMP Keith Rudd of Creighton Glen Whitbread of Schist Lake Bill McLean of Flin Flon Dewayne Wenger of Creighton Fire Dept. Marty Streitle of Denare Beach Daryl Wilkinson of Creighton.
