For the fifth year, local sailors will be able to learn a few more tricks of the trade. The Mobile Sailing School has returned to the Denare Beach area as students will buckle up their life jackets and take to the water. Hosted at the Main Beach in Denare, the school operates in two sessions each day _ with classes starting yesterday. Two age groups will hit the water during the day. Beyond just learning to navigate their way through both the boats and the water, some students will have the opportunity to qualify for the Manitoba Summer Games. Local sailors competed in the Games in 2008 as well as 2012. Graduates from the Mobile Sailing School have continued to further their education in sailing in Gimli and other parts of the province. The school got underway yesterday and will continue until Friday.
