The Flin Flon Bombers will be on the road this weekend, for games in Melville and Yorkton. Yorkton has had two games in the past two weeks canceled due to facility problems, but as of press time, the game for Saturday night in Yorkton was still on the schedule. After last weekend's less than successful effort against the Melfort Mustangs, coach Ryan Hoffman pledged to shake up the team. However, only one such deal has been completed. Daryl Fransoo is on his way to Weyburn, after an out-of-province offer was matched by the Red Wings. The Bombers are just 1-10-1-1 in their first 13 games, and the team is running out of time to turn the season around. Player moves could not come fast enough for a community that has been desperate to make the playoffs over the last three seasons, and are in danger of throwing away a fourth season. The Bombers have some great talent on the team, but have not been able to click together and win hockey games. Next home action for the team is October 29 against Kindersley.
