Richard Dupre of Creighton has received $1,200 on an athletics scholarship through the Augustana Faculty of the University of Alberta. In his Second Year of Bachelor of Science, Dupre is one of roughly 360 students to receive recognition. Providing almost $380,000 to its students in scholarships and grants, the Augustana Faculty recognizes excellence in Academics, Fine Arts, Athletics and Leadership. Funding for the awards comes from generous donors, investment earning on endowments and from the Augustana Faculty budget.
