Want to know how far or how fast you can you ski? Find out by taking part in the Flin Flon Ski Club's Revival Loppet on Sunday, February 6. It's been four years since the last Revival Loppet at the Flin Flon Ski Club. In 2002 and 2003 there wasn't enough snow, and last year the snow arrived to late. This event is for skiers who like a bit of a challenge, and who don't mind a bit of huffing and puffing. You can choose to ski 7.5, 13 or 18 kilometres. Register at Ross Lake Market Garden between 1-1:50 p.m. There will be a massed start on Ross Lake at 2 p.m., with a finish at the Ski Club. There are no frills and no medals for this event, and also no entry fee Ð just fun and glory. For those who aren't interested in huffing and puffing, the Centaloppet will take place on February 20. It is a short, fun, no-sweat event. For further information, call Dave at 687-4317, or Larry at 687-5073.
