Last weekend the Annual Ladies Bonspiel highlighted the recreation schedule in Flin Flon. This weekend, the men take to the ice. The Annual Men's Bonspiel will take place at the Uptown and Willow Park Curling Clubs on March 18-20. The ladies put on a great show last weekend, and you can bet that the men are going to be on their best game this weekend. If you are uptown watching curling on Saturday night, you won't have to go far to catch some topnotch figure skating. The Flin Flon Skating Club will be presenting their season revue at 6:30 p.m., featuring all of their hard working skaters, including recent participants in the Provincial STARSkate Championships. Come and check out Heather Bergin, who will be representing her town and province at the National STARSkate Championships in P.E.I. later this month. Girls wishing to play fastball this summer can take advantage of indoor ball for girls in grades 6-8. Next week's practice only will be on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. in the Parkdale gymnasium. Practices will be on Wednesday nights starting in April. The Canadian Tire Recreation Corner is a new weekly feature that will run every Thursday. Call 687-3454 if you have an event you would like mentioned.
