The Bombers hit the ice tomorrow night in Melfort after their Christmas break. The Maroon and White challenge the Mustangs back on home ice on Sunday at 7:30 in hopes of starting up another winning streak. It's a hockey full weekend for the start of January as the Bombers take on the Humboldt Broncos January 4 and the Notre Dame Hounds the next night, at the Whitney Forum. It's a long weekend for the team the next weekend as they have three road games in three days. Friday, January 11, has the Bombers in Melville to face the Millionaires before heading to Yorkton the next night. Sunday has the Maroon and White in Humboldt before heading back to Flin Flon for their Tuesday game in the Whitney Forum against the La Ronge Ice Wolves. Friday, January 18, has the team at home once again to face off against Humboldt for the third time for the month. **** Some family friendly activities for New Year's Eve: Batting a balloon back and forth may sound easy, but in this challenge. Each contestant must link an arm with his partner. Whichever pair is able to volley their balloon the longest wins. You can pick up several yards of large bubble wrap (or recycle bubble wrap that comes with holiday gifts). Just before midnight, unroll it on a hard surface, such as a wooden floor or driveway, and when the countdown concludes, hold a "Bubble Wrap Stomp."
