Flin Flon If you missed the first Christmas Card Class on Nov. 8, there will be another one on Nov. 23. If you want a chance to skate with the Bombers, this will be taking place on Nov. 28 at the Whitney Forum from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. If you want to learn how physical activity and nutrition can help prevent osteoporosis, there will be a luncheon on Nov. 23 in the green room of the Community Hall. This will take place from 12:00 to 1 p.m. To reserve a spot call 687-1340 by Nov.21 or call Aimee at 681-7542 for more information. Creighton The Sportex may be where all the fun is happening with scrub hockey every Friday at 9:15 p.m. On Sunday, there will be public skating from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. There is also a day geared for families with Family Fun Skate on Nov.20 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a tree lighting on Creighton Ave. with a party after at the Community Hall on Dec.1 at 6 p.m. There is a Loonie skate every Friday from 7 to 7:45 p.m. Anybody who wants to skate with Santa Claus can on Dec. 11 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Just a reminder: Flin Flon Friendship Centre Native arts and culture night will be taking place in the main hall of the centre on Tuesday, Nov. 15. It goes from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Some of the special attractions include hoop dancing, fiddle music, crafts, bannock and drum songs.
