Creighton Recreation The skateboard clinic will take place on Sept. 17 and not Sept. 10 as reported in last week's Recreation Corner. The time is still from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the pre-register date is Sept.16. Walking Club This will begin on Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. at the Creighton Sportex. Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to go to the Sportex that day or call Cindy Davis at 688-8254 for more information. Creighton School is holding their Terry Fox Run on Sept. 23 at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Neyanun Regional Recreation Authority A wilderness training course for people aged 16 and up is scheduled for Oct.7-9 at 5 p.m. at Denare Beach. This is for people who want to spend more time with nature. Learn the introductions to canoeing and hiking, there is time spent on nature and species identification, fire building, map reading and a trust walk. Brandy Smart, an outdoor expert, will be the instructor. She will introduce people to discovering animal totems. Denare Beach Recreation Just a little reminder that Taekwondo and Yoga started this week. Taekwondo is from 7:30 -8:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, while Yoga is on Tuesday from 7-8 p.m.
