Flin Flon One final reminder, today is the last day for the Christmas Card Class, which takes place at the Community Hall. Contact Aimee Deans for any information. If you want a chance to skate with the Bombers, this will be taking place on Nov. 28 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Whitney Forum. Flin Flon Friendship Centre Santa's Workshop will be taking place December 3 at the Co-op from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. There will be games, crafts, snacks and of course, an appearance from Santa Claus. Denare Beach For National Addictions Awareness Week, which started Sunday, there will be a dance this Saturday at the Elks Hall from 7 to 10 p.m. Anyone interested in attending should contact the Rec office to make transportation arrangements. Creighton The Sportex may be where all the fun is happening with scrub hockey every Friday at 9:15 p.m. On Sunday, there will be public skating from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a tree lighting on Creighton Ave. with a party after at the Community Hall on Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. There is a Loonie skate every Friday from 7 to 7:45 p.m. There will be a Christmas Party on December 8. Anybody who wants to skate with Santa Claus can on Dec. 11 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. For information on the Christmas Party, contact Cindy Davis at 688-8254.
