Action starts tonight in the Whitney Forum as the Bombers host the Melfort Mustangs for Game one of the Itech Conference Semi-Finals. The best of seven series gets started with games in Flin Flon tonight and tomorrow before heading to Melfort Tuesday and Wednesday. From there, if necessary, the teams continue with a the fifth game in Flin Flon next Friday, then back to Melfort on Monday and then back home on Tuesday. The Bust the Winter Blues Festival gets underway tonight with the opening ceremonies at the Rotary Wheel. Activities and events carry through to tomorrow and end Sunday. The Saskatchewan Cross Country Ski Competition gets set for this weekend as well as the Flin Flon/Creighton Ski Club hosts its first major event in two decades. Next weekend, the Women's Curling Bonspiel is set to take place with games starting on Friday. Getting started Friday, March 15, Midget teams will be taking over the Whitney Forum and the Creighton Sportex for their annual tournament. Games get underway Friday and continue through to Sunday. The the Bust the Winter Blues Festival in Creighton and Flin Flon will be getting started on February 27 and wrapping up on March 1.
