The Flin Flon Bombers hope to continue a hot streak during a week of difficult decisions.

After a pair of dominating home victories last week – 4-0 over Kindersley on Thursday, Nov. 24 and 4-1 against Humboldt on Friday, Nov. 25 – the Bombers have won six in a row.

Head coach Mike Reagan said Jason Lavallee and Greyson Reitmeier have been unbelievable since being put on a line together. Against Kindersley, Reitmeier scored a hat trick while Lavallee lit the lamp twice. They both scored again against Humboldt.

Reagan gives a lot of credit to 18-year-old rookie Nate Hooper, who has stepped in as an important part of that line.

While that line has been strong, fellow Flin Flon forward Kristian St. Onge has been on a hot streak of his own, recording a point in each of his last 10 games.

Tough decisions await Reagan. SJHL teams must cut down to 25 cards by Friday, but Reagan usually likes to get down to 21 or 22 cards to give flexibility in advance of the Jan. 10 trade deadline, by which time teams must have no more than 23 cards.

As of Nov. 26, the Bombers roster included 26 members: three goalies, nine defencemen and 14 forwards.

“There is not one [player] I want to see go,” Reagan said.

Some players could be put on junior B cards and be called up to contribute.

The Bombers are in Melfort on Wednesday.
