Due to the rainstorm Saturday afternoon, the youth open slated for the Phantom Lake Golf Course will instead be held Wednesday, August 1. For those interested in signing up, there are four age groups: seven to nine, 10 to 12, 13 to 15, and 16 to 19. Players must be 19 as of July 31 to participate. The deadline for entries is Tuesday, July 31 at 4 p.m. The golfing will get underway at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. A supper will also be served after the golfing, along with prizes. There is a $15 entry fee for players to compete in the nine hole medal play, or the three holes for those ages seven to nine. For those interested in registering, please do so in person at the Proshop or call 688-5555.
