Submitted by Flin Flon Bombers It was quite for trades on deadline day for the SJHL and the Flin Flon Bombers. In total Flin Flon made three deals. Flin Flon traded 1993 born forward Kyle Oleniuk to the Weyburn Red Wings for the rights to 1994 born goaltender Austin Rediron and a player to be named later. In Rediron, Flin Flon gets a 6' net minder who plays with the Tisdale Trojans of the SAAAMHL. In 22 games this season, Rediron has a required of 12-9-0-0 with a 3.61 GAA and a .891 save percentage. Last season Rediron had a 3.49 GAA and a .885 save percentage in 25 games. Along with Rediron, the Bombers get a player off of the Red Wing's list. In the other deal, on Monday the Bombers acquired 1991 born Kody Dhaliwal from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL for future considerations. On Tuesday, the Bombers turned around and traded Dhaliwal to the Chilliwack Chiefs of the BCHL for futures. Dhaliwal was not going to report to Flin Flon after the trade from Salmon Arm. 'Uneventful' 'It was a long and uneventful day,' said General Manager and Head Coach Mike Reagan. 'We thought we had a good piece of the puzzle in Dhaliwal, but he had his heart set on playing in BC. He's played there for four seasons and he's a BC kid.' On the Oleniuk trade, 'Kyle was hesitant on coming to Flin Flon when we acquired him earlier in the season. 'He agreed to come here and try it. He wanted to be closer to home so. We wish him the best.' On the players they get from Weyburn, 'We're really happy with what we got for Kyle. 'We got some added security in Rediron, who's also a teammate of Bomber prospect JJ Coleshaw in Tisdale. We also get a list player next season.' Earning a win in Melville Wednesday night, the Bombers were in Notre Dame Thursday and Estevan Friday and Saturday.
