The Flin Flon Bombers are back in action as they continue to compete in the exhibition season. Heading into Friday's game against the OCN Blizzard, the Bombers were 1-1 in the preseason following games against the Nipawin Hawks and the Swan Valley Stampeders. Tomorrow night, the Bombers will host the Hawks in their second home game of the preseason. From there, the Maroon and White travel to Swan River for their second game against the Stamps before hosting their last two exhibition games. Flin Flon will welcome the La Ronge Ice Wolves on Thursday and the Blizzards on Friday. The remaining games will help the Flin Flon coaching staff settle on a roster for the regular season, which begins Sept. 20 in Melfort. The team's main training camp started with nearly 60 players and head coach and GM Mike Reagan has to get to 25 carded players for the start of the season The 2013-14 season is looking promising for the squad as a successful off-season has brought fresh talent to the Whitney Forum. The Bombers will start off their season in Melfort before hosting their home opener on Sept. 21 against the Mustangs. Last year's home opener marked the start of an impressive winning streak for the Bombers. As always, the team hopes to see plenty of support throughout the preseason and regular season at the Whitney Forum.
