The Flin Flon Bombers rank seventh in the SJHL Power Rankings this week. Check out the rest of the league: 1. Humboldt Broncos Ð The gap may have shrunk a little bit, but the Broncos are still the best team in the league and the country 2. Yorkton Terriers Ð Some thought the nine game road trip the Terriers are in the midst of might mean the end of their run as Sherwood Conference leaders. A 4-1 start to that trip means otherwise 3. Melfort Mustangs Ð The Mustangs split their two games this week against Humboldt. They have shown that at this time they are more than capable of holding their own against the SJHL's top team. 4. Estevan Bruins Ð The Bruins have been up and down all season. Right now, they are on an upswing having won two in a row. 5. La Ronge Ice Wolves Ð The Ice Wolves won a pair of big road games, but they couldn't sustain the momentum losing two games on home ice to Yorkton 6. Weyburn Red Wings Ð Have the Wings turned the corner? They needed better goaltending and they certainly got it this week from Mitch Kilgore. 7. Flin Flon Bombers Ð When Ryan Fox is on his game, the Bombers win. If he's not, they don't. That has to change. 8. Kindersley Klippers Ð The Klippers have lost three of their last four and must now handle the next couple of weeks without their head coach. 9. Notre Dame Hounds Ð The Hounds have scored three or less goals 11 times this season. They have allowed three or less 10 times this season. 10. Battlefords North Stars Ð The Stars only played one game this week so perhaps its not fair to drop them in the rankings, but that's what happened. Ken Pearson is making a lot of moves as he looks to find a good mix. He appears to be on the right road 11. Melville Millionaires Ð The Moneymen may be last in the Sherwood Conference right now, but they are only four points out of 3rd. A hot streak will have this team moving up the rankings in a hurry 12. Nipawin Hawks Ð The Hawks have lost eight in a row. What more needs to be said?
