No one will be going for a swim at the Aqua Centre as the pool will be shutdown for maintenance as of Oct.12. Heather Todoschuk, pool manager, said the pool will be drained so the cement at the bottom can be repaired and painted. Also, the deck is being repaired because of bare spots and the shower floor will also be worked on. Todoschuk said she anticipates the work to take about four weeks. However, gym facilities will still be available to the public.
