Winner: Brett Leedahl, Kindersley Klippers 1988 F Brett Leedahl (Saskatoon SK), who is arguably the most exciting player to watch in the entire SJHL, fired four goals and three assists in just two games played last week. He began the week with a 3-assist game against Yorkton on October 28th and then blitzed Battlefords on October 31st for four goals. For the season, heÕs up to 12 goals and 15 assists in just 15 games. Runners-up: Scott Schroeder, Humboldt; Jordan Braid, Kindersley; Travis Janke, Notre Dame SJHL Defenseman Of The Week Winner: Taylor Thiessen, Nipawin Hawks 1989 D Taylor Thiessen (Prince Albert SK) has been a big part of a recent resurgence in Nipawin. Thiessen had a goal and three assists in three games played last week and the Hawks are 4-1 in their last five overall. His big game was on October 28 when he scored a goal and two assists in a win over the Sherwood Conference leading Melville Millionaires. For the season, Thiessen has 18 points in 18 games to lead the Hawks in scoring. Runners-up: Shawn Courtney, Weyburn; Justin Wilkinson, Kindersley; Brady Wacker, Humboldt SJHL Goaltender Of The Week Winner: Adrien Lemay, Nipawin Hawks 1989 G Adrien Lemay (Quebec City PQ) found himself on a new team last week and he made an immediate impact by winning two games and posting a ridiculous 0.99-GAA and .976-SPCT. He was exceptional in turning away 43 shots against Melville on October 28th. He had a 39 save shutout over Estevan on Halloween night. The former Battlefords North Star was brought in to offer veteran stability between the pipes and he has made good on that team need already. Runners-up: Kyle Jahraus & Jonathan Jobin, La Ronge; Calvin Bartel, Flin Flon; Jordan Barry, Yorkton.
