Player of the Week Winner: Torrie Dyck, Nipawin Hawks 1988 F Torrie Dyck (Hudson Bay SK) led the Hawks through a busy five game week, scoring one goal and seven assists. He began the week with a four assist effort against La Ronge last Tuesday and ended it with three helpers on Sunday at Flin Flon. Dyck now has 23 goals and 35 assists in 51 games this year. Runners-up: Derek Serdachny, Yorkton; Preston Shupe, Weyburn; Brent Ottmann, Nipawin. Defenseman of the Week Winner: Austin Krahenbil, Melville Millionaires 1989 D Austin Krahenbil (Melville SK) let loose with an offensive explosion last week, collecting two goals and three assists in three games as he stepped up his play and responded positively by receiving first line powerplay assignments. Krahenbil, an SJHL all-star, has six goals and eight assists in 49 games. Runners-up: Rhys Thomas, Weyburn; Greg Coburn, Yorkton; Steven Turner, Kindersley. Goaltender of the Week Winner: Devin Peters, Yorkton Terriers 1990 G Devin Peters (St. Andrews MB) backstopped his team to a pair of big 2-1 wins over the Kindersley Klippers this past weekend. Peters made 27 saves in Friday's overtime decision. He had a 30 stop effort on Sunday as the Terriers prevailed in a shootout. Peters, who receives the second worst offensive support in the league (amongst the top ten goalies in the league) at 2.44, is now 17-8-1-and-4 on the season. He has a 2.56-GAA and a .917-SPCT.
