Winner: Scott Schroeder, Humboldt Broncos 1988 F Scott Schroeder (Drake SK) is enjoying a breakout season as a 20-year-old junior. Schroeder, scoring five goals and two assists in three games played. The week was highlighted with a five point effort in a 9-5 victory over the Notre Dame Hounds on Sunday evening. For the season, Schroeder has 12 goals and 18 assists in 22 games. Runners-up: Deven Stillar, Melfort; Rylan Schwartz, Notre Dame; Jaden Schwartz, Notre Dame; John Payne, Melfort; Tyler Murray, Melville. SJHL Defenceman of the Week Winner: Mitchell Stretch, Notre Dame Hounds 1990 D Mitchell Stretch (Saskatoon SK) has adapted his offensive game nicely since coming over to Notre Dame in a trade earlier this season. The gifted blueliner counted a goal and five helpers in three contests over the last seven days, hitting the scoresheet in each of the three games played. This season, Stretch is up to two goals and 17 assists in 25 games. Runners-up: Brady Wacker, Humboldt; Michael Young, Flin Flon; Justin Perreaux, Kindersley. SJHL Goaltender of the Week Winner: Travis Bosch, Melville Millionaires For the third time this season, 1988 G Travis Bosch (Regina SK) gets the nod. Bosch was 2-1 with a 1.33-GAA and .949-SPCT this past week. His only defeat was a 2-1 loss to Kindersley on Saturday night. Bosch leads the SJHL in minutes played (1124) and SPCT (.932). He is third in GAA (2.19), and boasts an overall record of 13-3-2. Runners-up: Jonathan Jobin, La Ronge; Devin Peters, Yorkton; AJ Whiffen, Weyburn.
