SJHL Player Of The Week Brett Miller, Battlefords North Stars 1991 F Brett Miller (North Battleford SK) led the Stars with four goals and two assists in four games played last week. Those totals included a two goal showing on October 6th against Humboldt and then accumulating points in all three road games played over the weekend in Notre Dame, Weyburn, and Estevan. SJHL Defenseman Of The Week Andrew Perrault, Weyburn Red Wings 1989 D Andrew Perrault (Grand Coulee SK) has quietly emerged as a top rearguard in the SJHL through his all-around play. Perrault has become one of the league's best open ice hitters, putting his 6'2" 190 lbs frame to work. He also has blossomed with his offensive game, contributing a goal and four assists in four games last week. SJHL Goaltender Of The Week Matt Weninger, Flin Flon Bombers 1989 G Matt Weninger (Lethbridge AB) got his game back on track over the weekend by registering a pair of victories and stopping 59-of-62 shots, which included a Saturday night shutout of the Kindersley Klippers. His GAA of 1.50 for the week, lowered his overall season total to 3.82. Runners-up: Derek Tendler, Estevan; Charlie Pogue, Melfort; Russell Abbott, Notre Dame.
