The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has announced 19-year-old Notre Dame centreman Chris Hahn as the Sherwood Player of the Month for November. Chris, who is 5'9, 185 lbs and from Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan accumulated 10 goals and seven assists for 17 points and two penalty minutes in 11 games for the month of November. For the season Chris Hahn has 18 goals and 22 assists for 40 points and 33 penalty minutes in 29 games. He has four power play goals, four short handed goals, one first goal, five game winning goals, one game tying goals, four insurance goals, and three multiple goal games. Hahn edged out Kyle Pellerin and Dominic Cote both of the Estevan Bruins. Kyle had seven goals and eight assists for 15 points and eight penalty minutes in nine games for November. Dominic had six goals and seven assists for 13 points and 20 penalty minutes in nine games. Another played that received consideration was Michael George of the Battlefords North Stars who had five goals and eight assists for 13 points and 12 penalty minutes in 11 games. The SJHL Itech Goaltender of the Month is 19-year-old Dustin MacDonald of the Battlefords North Stars. Dustin MacDonald is 5'9, 175 lbs and from Ranklin Inlet, Newfoundland. MacDonald faced 145 shots and allowed 12 goals in the month of November having played 308 minutes in six games. This gave him a goals against average of 2.34 and a save percentage of .917. He won three games, and had one loss and one tie including one shutout.
