This week's Tim Horton's - SJHL Player of the Week is awarded to 20-year-old Simon Nadeau of the Humboldt Broncos. Simon is a 6'1, 202 lb forward from Lac Etchamin, Quebec. During the past week Simon accumulated three goals and three assists for six points in two games. He scored the game winning goal in both games this past week helping the Broncos defeat Kindersley 4-1 and Notre Dame 4-3 in overtime. Simon also had two power-play goals and one multiple goal game. For the week ending September 21, 2003, Ketchen scored five goals and six assists for eleven points. Ketchen who hails from Winnipeg helped the Terriers get out of the gate quickly with a record of four wins and one loss in their first five games. Runners up for the Old Dutch Player of the Week award are Chad Wrixon of the Winkler Flyers and Darcy Weaselhead of the Southeast Blades.
