Submitted by SJHL Player of the Week Logan Herauf - La Ronge The 20 year old from Regina has quieted any notions that the Ice Wolves are a one line team. Head Coach Bob Beatty says Herauf was quiet all season long living in the shadow of the Ice Wolves top three, but he has emerged from that shadow to have 13 points in five games to lead all scorers in the playoffs. Defenceman of the week Johnathan Sonntag Ð Kindersley The Klippers are known for their offence, but their play behind the blueline is a big reason as to why they are sitting where they are. The leader of that group is Johnathan Sonntag. The 20 year old from Goodsoil, Saskatchewan had an excellent series against Weyburn as he helped shut down some talented Weyburn forwards while chipping in offensively with six points while logging in some valuable minutes. Goalie of the Week Mitch Kilgore Ð Weyburn The Wings didn't advance to the Sherwood Conference final, but they can't blame their goaltending for not getting there. The 1991 born goalie from Outlook frustrated Kindersley shooters on many an occasion and came very close to stealing game three before losing in double overtime. Kilgore played in four of the five playoff games against Kindersley registering a goals against average of 2.56 and an impressive .940 save percentage.3/21/2011
