The Pee Wee A's ended their season at the Provincials in Portage this past weekend. Their first game was against the Winkler Flyers Friday afternoon which they won 3-1. Scoring for Flin Flon were Rylan Veitch, Tyler Fullowka and Lloyd Kawa. Dillan McCombie was the game star. In the second game Saturday morning they faced the Dauphin Kings and won by the same 3-1 score. Rylan Veitch had two goals with Randal Custer scoring one. Game star was Randal Custer. The 2-0 record put Flin Flon first in their pool and meant they would meet Dauphin again Saturday afternoon. It was a close game with Dauphin scoring with 1:07 left to win 5-4. Scoring for Flin Flon were Randal Custer with 2, Dillan McCombie and Tyler Fullowka. This loss knocked Flin Flon out of the Provincials. The Pee Wee A's had a 15-4-1 record this year, winning two of the five tournaments they entered. Coaches Ken Danko, Todd Quinn, assistant coach Jason Fehr and manager Richard Beck would like to thank the players for the excellent effort they put in this year. The Pee Wee A's would also like to congratulate the four Flin Flon teams that won silver medals at Provincials.3/16/2005
