With snow hitting the ground just about everyday, the Flin Flon Ski Club is having an Open House and Swap Shop. This will take place at the club tomorrow from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. "If people show up they can get 10 per cent off on membership deals," said Dave Price, president of the Flin Flon Ski Club. If you don't have ski's, this event can take care of that too. People can bring their old equipment to swap or sell and Fresh Air Experience from Prince Albert will be bringing their latest gear. "Lots of people have ski's in the garage gathering dust," Price said. "We'll sell them." The Flin Flon Ski Club has been doing this for at least 20 years, Price said. The Open House is also a chance for people to talk to ski club members and find out what's happening. There will also be demonstrations, including how to wax ski's - something that Price said people are leery about. To fight off the cold weather, people can enjoy a free hot chocolate and a muffin. "In the evening, there will be a potluck social starting at 6 p.m.," he said. The event will conclude with a fire show as the remains of the A-frame will go up in flames. Don't miss out on the fun.
