Every so often in this line of work as a reporter, you receive a phone call or a note of encouragement that makes the daily grind seem worth while. Earlier this week, I received a parcel in the mail containing two car flags and various other Calgary Flames souvenirs. Jeka Desjarlais, who receives The Reminder via e-mail on a daily basis, sent me the gifts along with a birthday card "from one Flames fan to another". I want to take this opportunity to thank her for her generosity. Until next hockey season . . . "Go Flames Go!"
