Perry Burton was crowned the Flin Flon Premier League dart champion last week as he defeated Eric Fernandes six games to four in an exiting final.
Fernandes had overcome league leader Darrell Nash in the first semi-final by the same margin, and Burton came back strong after being down four games to two by taking the last four games against Brian Humphreys.
The Premier League has been taking place over the last couple of months with 13 local dart players competing in the same format used on TV.
The matches also took place in three provinces with the players playing some of their matches while competing in other out-of-town tournaments.
Four 180s were recorded during the event by Bob Benson and Eric Fernandes with two apiece. Nash had the highest recorded checkout of 130.
The local dart club wraps up another successful season on Sunday with its awards banquet at the Victoria Inn.
