Norman Wild tied for first in league

The Norman Wild are tied for first place in the Manitoba Female Midget AAA Hockey League. The girls sit with a 6-2-1 record and 13 points as they sit neck-and-neck with the Pembina Valley Hawks.

The Wild have fought hard to stay in the top rankings as they have defeated the Westman Wildcats 4-3, the Eastman Selects 5-2 and 8-6, and the Winnipeg Ice 4-2.
The Wild picked up a tie against the Wildcats in their last game played with a 3-3 final.
The team’s lone loss came from a 4-1 victory to the Central Plains Capitals.
The Wild look to the Yellowhead Chiefs for their next game on Friday as well as the Ice the following night.
The Wild will continue road games and practices before they host their next game on Nov. 23.
The Hawks will take on the Wild on home ice.
