Six boys who played their minor hockey in Flin Flon are now a part of the Norman Northstars, nearly one-third of their total roster. Greg Pruden, Kyle Assie, Quinn Steuart, Richard Dupre, Bradey Fidierchuk and Terry Assie have cracked this year's lineup. The Northstars are off to a good start, sitting in third place out of 12 after seven games. Last weekend, the Northstars swept Southeast with 4-2 and 5-3 victories. Dupre and Pruden each scored on Saturday, and Dupre had two goals and two assists on Sunday and is now in second place in the league scoring race with 13 points in seven games. The team is out on a three-game road trip this weekend, with games against Brandon, Yellowhead and Parkland.
