If last year's NHL scoring champ, Peter Forsberg, doesn't capture the Art Ross Trophy this season, chances are one of his teammates will. The Colorado Avalanche dominate the list of top scorers so far this season with three players in the top eight: Forsberg, Milan Hejduk and current scoring leader Alex Tanguay. While it's no shock to see those names on the list of top scorers, the same can't be said for Mariusz Czerkawski. The winger has overcome last year's painfully bad season in Montreal to lead the New York Islanders in scoring with 11 goals and five assists. Here are the top 20 scorers, excluding yesterday's games.
