If there had been a regular NHL season this year, the fight for the Stanley Cup would have been nearing its exciting conclusion as we enter June. However, as all hockey fans know, the owners and players couldn't reach an agreement on how to split up the revenue, hence no season and no Cup this year. How are negotiations going? Well, the one positive thing is that the two sides have been involved in rather extensive talks lately and they just might come up with an agreement. There could be NHL hockey starting this fall. On the other hand, such an agreement has yet to be reached, and who knows how far apart the two sides could still be. Only time will tell.
