Former Flin Flon Bomber Jesse Mysiorek is moving onto the college ranks. The 1991-born Mysiorek has signed on with Simon Fraser University for the 2012-13 season. Mysiorek had 41 points (19G, 22A) in 50 games last season _ 20 of those (7G, 13A) in 22 games after being acquired by the Bombers in a trade in November. Simon Fraser plays in the British Columbia Interuniversity Hockey League and is coming off a season that saw it finish the regular season with a 17-2-5 record and reach the BCIHL championship game for the fifth straight season.
