Shaun McIvor's tenth came on a powerplay at 14:51, but Portage drew even again with Bryan Bouchard's powerplay goal with 1:24 to go in the frame. Leif Thorkelson put the Terriers ahead at 7:51 of the third. That lead held up until Bret Peppler scored with just over three minutes remaining. But, Blachford put an end to any thoughts of overtime with nineteen seconds to go. Anthony Marshall, who has emerged in this series, made 33-saves to get the win. Orlando Alamano stopped 25-shots in the loss. The winner of the series plays the Selkirk Steelers in the finals.
