Manitoba Junior Hockey League teams will each play 60 games in the 2004-05 schedule, plus a three-game showcase weekend. The showcase weekend is scheduled Oct. 8-10 at the Dakota Community Centre, where the Winnipeg Saints play their home games. The league playoffs will begin March 4. The Anavet Cup championship, to decide the Royal Bank Cup national junior A championship representative from Manitoba and Saskatchewan, will start April 22 in the home arena of the Manitoba champion. Also, the OCN Blizzard have transferred the playing rights of defenceman Tyler Harder, 18, and future considerations to the Dauphin Kings for future considerations.6/16/2004
