The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has announced the schedule for its October, 2004 Showcase weekend. The MJHL will be hosting 18 regular season League games on the Thanksgiving Day weekend of October 8, 9 and 10, 2004. There will be six games per day and all games will be played at the Dakota Community Centre in Winnipeg. The MJHL also announced that the Borderland Thunder (Fort Frances, ON) of the Superior International Junior Hockey League have accepted an invitation to participate in the MJHL Showcase weekend. The MJHL Showcase Weekend is priced for family value with weekend passes selling for $30 and day passes selling for $12.
