Kelly Carrington Staff Writer Mel and Jim Quinn took first place, in the first flight, of the Mixed Two-Ball tournament held at the Phantom Lake Golf Course. The June 23 tournament had 27 groups tee off in three flights. The Quinns came out on top with a combined score of 40. It was a close tournament as the lowest score of the day came in at 60. The results of the Mixed Two-Ball Tournament are: Sue Murray was closest to the hole for the women on hole 6 with a mark of 9' while Tim Coutts was closest to the hole with a mark of 9'6'. Salamondra, successful in the two tournaments, took first place with 70 in the first flight.
