With participation numbers down over the last few years, the future of minor ball in Flin Flon is uncertain. "We need to make a decision as to whether we go ahead with the season," said Katie Kawerski, minor ball president. "There are children out there who still enjoy the sport and would like to see it continue. As coaches and parents we would like to see the season continue." Tonight at 7 p.m. there will be a meeting at RJ's Motel, room 117 for anyone interested in seeing minor ball continue. Everyone is encouraged to attend. You need not be a coach. "The more response we get the better the chances are of this sport being offered this season," said Kawerski. "We encourage all parents to come to this meeting."
