The Men's Opening Day Golf Tournament was held at the Phantom Lake Golf Course on Saturday, May 29. Here are the results: Championship Flight 1 - Neil Goodman, 73 2 - Kelly Petalik, 78 3 - Ray Shirran, 79 First Flight 1 - Brian Bortis, 86 2 - Kris Lee, 88 3 - Hugh Howat, 88 Second Flight 1 - Gerry Fladager, 93 2 - Al Brown, 93 3 - Reid Cousins, 93 Third Flight 1 - Glen Campbell, 99 2 - Trevor Watt, 101 3 - Bob Davis, 104 Ray Shirran was the winner of the longest drive competition, while Metro Lekopoy was closest to the hole. In other Phantom Lake Golf Club news, Ernie Kichuk was the first ace of the year with a hole-in-one on Sunday, May 30. Next up for Phantom Lake is the Mixed 2-ball on June 19.
