Kang's 2007 Inter-Academy Taekwondo Tournament was held in Swan River October 20th. Members from the local Flin Flon, Denare Beach and Cranberry Portage clubs went to the tournament, which had approximately 200 members of Kang's Taekwondo all over Manitoba competing. The participating members won a number of medals, and all members were enthusiastic about doing their best. A highlight of the day was when Mr. Doug Dubray of Cranberry Portage won Best Mannered Trophy for the tournament. In the upcoming year, members continue to train for the Canada American tournament as well as prepare for a special demonstration for Flin Flon's 2008 birthday celebration.
