The year 2004 has been a great one for the McKeen's Trucking novice hockey team. We started by winning the Hercules Tournament in The Pas, and finished by winning the Flin Flon Novice Division playoffs. In the playoffs, all the games were fairly close with two against the Canadians ending in 8-7 and 6-5 shoot outs. We then carried on to beat the Firemen 6-5 and 5-4. It was a fun year thanks to our sponsors, McKeen's Trucking. A team representing McKeen's Trucking also participated in a novice tournament in Saskatoon in February, placing third. At the Hercules tournament in The Pas, McKeen's walked through undefeated, beating The Pas Red 6-2, the Pas White 7-0 and Minnetonas 6-0 in the round robin. In the A-side final, McKeen's beat the Flin Flon Firemen 4-1.
