The 10th annual Creighton/Flin Flon Masters (60+) Bonspiel will take place at the Uptown Curling Club on Saturday, February 14 and Sunday February 15. There will be three events; Creighton Appliances, CIBC and the Henry Budlong Memorial. The first draw will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday. There are 11 teams participating. The teams were selected through a draw similar to the Seniors Bonspiel with the names put in a hat. This is the result: John Vielgut will have M. Lekopoy, M. Hammell and D. McLaren: Jack Scott will have B. Borschewski, A. Brecht and M. Kryschuk: Lyle Lavis will have N. Flagel, N. Leclerc and E. Willetts; Ted Sochan will have B. Kaplanchuk, R. McConnell and D. Reynolds; Mal Jacobson will have K. Huntley, D. Rose and J. Streitle; E. Young will have K. Reader, L. Webber and A. Krassilowsky: M. Fox will have E. Andrusiak, G. Rideout and R. Chretien; Alex Graham will have M. Sproxton, E. Stevens and C. Wilson; Gord McIntyre will have J. Martin, S. Campbell and B. Fardoe; John Munson will have L. Morrison, H. Antoniw and M. Kish; Al Chartrand will have L. Bolton, M, Olynyk and B. Graves. Draw one at 10 a.m. - Fox will play Chartrand, Jacobson against Munson and Vielgut against Lavis. At 12:30 p.m. it will be the winner of Vielgut/Lavis against Sochan, Scott against Graham and McIntyre against Young. Come on out and cheer on your favourite team as I have said before - the price is right! In Golden Gals Curling; our representative for this area leaves for Killarney on Sunday to play in the Provincials. The team is Sheila Adams, Leona Lundgren, Norma Barr and Sheila Sproxton with spare Betty Fehr. The games will take place on the 16th through to the 19th. Have a great time girls and good curling!
