Although his Team West was defeated by Team East 5 - 3, Flin Flon's Reid MacLeod was able to hit the score sheet on Wednesday night's 2007 Heartland Credit Union CJAHL Prospect Game in Winkler, MB. With his team down 4 - 2, MacLeod deflected a shot in the third period to bring Team West within one. But Team East scored into the open net to take the win. In the day before the game, the teams had a skills competition and after being shutout in the Rapid Fire Competition, MacLeod scored in the 3 - on - 3 game. "We're very happy and proud of Reid for doing so well during the two days." Coach Mike Reagan commented on Thursday. "He deserves all the success he's getting right now." MacLeod was back with the team as they traveled to North Battleford in the first of two road games before the Christmas break.
